LOTUS 15 REPLICA

In the late 1950s Lotus produced the Lotus 11 that dominated its class in the under 1100cc classification. In an effort to compete in the open classification they built the slightly larger but visually identical Lotus 15. They were fitted with 2000 and 2500cc engines. One competing in the USA even had a 3500cc Rover V8.

My car was designed and came completely assembled from Tom Rogers (Kokopelli Sports Automotive Prototype). The donor car was a MGB and it is registered as a 1972 MGB. It has a stock 3800 V6 engine and 5-speed transmission from a 2002 Camaro, includes an integrated roll cage, and weighs approx 1600 pounds.
