 | Purchased in 1993 from the second owner, Jim Watson, the car has now undergone extensive modification, including the installation of a 350HP Ford 302. The conversion process is documented with many pictures at MGBGTV8.
This car was completed in July, 2008. As of December 2011, it has covered over 9,000 trouble free miles, with an average of 25-26 MPG on the highway. I don't get as much mileage on local drives because I can't keep my foot off the loud pedal! It is a blast to drive, and we expect to put many more miles on it in the years to come. |
